Making first contact with the orphanage

ICAB or Inter-Country Adoption Board has made contact with the CRIBS Foundation, the orphanage in the Philippines where I stayed for five months before I came to the United States. To see my birth mother's name in writing brings up so many emotions. I hope and pray they can provide some new information that will help connect me with my birth mother, birth family and/or other individuals that may be able to assist me in my search. I can never truly be prepared for what lies ahead. It's not an easy or quick process either but I remain hopeful and optimistic that each step forward is progress being made, which puts me even closer to the answers and closure I'm seeking.
