Buying my first house!

I remember the days when I prayed to be where I am right now. It’s been a long journey but I’m so grateful to finally be a homeowner I closed on my first house today after looking at dozens of houses for more than a year. I finally found the one for me. I’m ready for all the DIY projects ahead and I’m excited to make this home my own. 

I couldn’t have done it without the help and support from my good friend and realtor Jon Allee who was with me every step of the way, hard at work, showing me potential houses and answering any questions I had. And my outstanding mortgage lender, Bo Bigley who made things happen from the mortgage side. Thanks to Bo and Jon, I was able to secure a new roof, a downpayment assistance grant and seller credit which basically covered all of my closing costs. These two are the dream team. None of this would be possible without the support of my parents who always want the best for me. I continue to be grateful for their presence in my life. Through every challenge, all the highs and lows. They’re always there if I need help with something. I love you both beyond measure.

Nearly a year ago, I told myself homeownership was my next goal. I spoke it into existence. I worked hard to make it happen. And here I am. God is good. He always has my back. He always has a plan!
